This is beautiful! My dad is lucky enough to live in morel territory; these mushrooms are commonly called “hickory chickens” by the locals. A couple of weeks ago he actually sent me a picture of several that he had foraged on a friend’s property. I’ll have to send him your recipe!
Hey quick curiosity. So the beautiful pictures. The taste-in-your mouth adjectives of something (plant? fruit?) I have no idea about. The I'm sure-to-be spot on recipe...other than in your cookbooks, how do you recoup (from the business side since well, you know, I'm a Baron) the expense it takes to capture this delicacy? Do you sell this wonderful piece of enjoyment in a meal hosted by you cuz I'm sure you have all the time in the world (what???? Baron is almost 16???)
Love this tribute to the morel, Ash. I know the quest well.
Absolutely beautiful, Ashley.
Luv the morels recipe!
The beauty of this the recipe is the morels. The other beauty is it’s all for me. I’m the only one in the house who eats mushrooms they can see.
Being present is never a “mistake” and only serves to underscore the devotion. I’m all in💚
