Thank you. I also prefer thick hot chocolate, skiting the edge of the hot chocolate served with churros in Spain.

I confess to similar responses to nature’s discoveries while walking with Vic or a friend! I’m so resonating with this post, as February has felt like crawling out of a cave into the promise of spring. I love the excerpt from Jessica Prentice and your thoughts that follow, something to reflect on this as I walk the pups this week. And that cocoa you served us was the best ever! Perfection. 💕

I found this post in my inbox, after finally catching up on clearly a year's worth of emails. It's so funny to me, how I am finding the same joy in signs of fall (though I'm clearly just dreaming of something to take my mind off potentially hitting our 12th 90° day of the year 🥵).

Earlier this week, I noticed it was darker at 7pm than it has been in months. We're starting to work on holiday shows at work. My plums are almost ready to pick (you're invited to come pick some again this year - though hopefully I'll be able to join you this year!). My soul longs for the short, dark, cold days of winter. I hate disliking summer, but I can really only take about three days above 80° before I start to wilt.
